Individual Therapy
Learn to Thrive's individual therapy sessions are tailored to each client’s needs, focusing on building skills, confidence, and independence. Using evidence-based strategies and a supportive approach, we work one-on-one to help clients reach their personal goals in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
Home Visits
Our home visits allow therapy to take place in the comfort of your own environment, helping clients practise everyday skills where they matter most. This approach supports smoother routines, greater independence, and practical improvements that fit naturally into family life.
School Visits
School visits enable us to work closely with teachers and support staff to help clients thrive in their learning environment. We focus on building classroom participation, social skills, and functional abilities, ensuring strategies are easy to use throughout the school day.
Initial Assessments
Our initial assessments provide a comprehensive understanding of each client’s strengths, challenges, and overall needs. We use a combination of observation, discussion, and standardised tools to guide recommendations and create a personalised therapy plan.
Online Therapy
Online therapy offers a flexible and accessible option for families who prefer virtual support. Using secure video sessions, we deliver engaging and effective therapy that fits seamlessly into busy schedules - without compromising on quality or connection.
Community Visits
Our community visits support clients to build confidence and skills in real-life settings such as playgrounds, shops, or other local environments. By practising everyday tasks within the community, we help children develop independence, social participation, and problem-solving skills in meaningful, practical ways.
NDIS
Learn to Thrive is an NDIS Occupational Therapy (OT) provider providing qualified therapy services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Our Booking Process
At Learn to Thrive, we aim to make your child’s journey through therapy clear, supportive, and aligned with your child’s developmental needs. Here’s what you can expect when you book with us:
Intake Appointment
This is our first opportunity to get to know your child and your family. We’ll discuss your child’s strengths, challenges, and goals, and gather all the necessary background information to guide our work together.
Assessment
During the assessment, we explore your child’s skills and functional abilities in detail. This helps us understand their unique needs and identify areas where therapy can make the most impact.
Recommended intervention
Together, we’ll create a tailored plan outlining recommended therapy goals and strategies, and support you as you begin ongoing therapy sessions. Each session is designed to support progress toward their goals while making learning engaging and enjoyable.
